PMI mandates that a graduate from a recognised University should have 4500 hours of Project experience i.e., 3 to 4 years of experience. On the other hand, a non-graduate and a graduate from a University that is not recognised would require 7500 hours of Project experience i.e., 6 to 7 years of experience. The assumption in providing the years of experience is that an aspirant has Project experience averaging anywhere between 1,100 hours and 1,600 hours per year.
